Went to see my Father. He was away from home on business. Took breakfast with my two sisters and step-mother. Traveled to Ninny, Trodeshill, and Kilmington. At the latter place, I visited Sis. Rachel Lappan, and instructed and prayed with her. Started for Bourton, arriving at 8 P.M. Found Bro & Sis. Alford well.

Traveled to Gillingham, and visited sister Thick. Then I went to Easttour, and visited the young woman named several times before. She felt well, for she loved the truth. Furnished her a Star and Marriage & Morals in Utah, and left her feeling fine. May the spirit of the Lord strive with her, and give her no rest till she abbeys the gospel! Went to Marnhull, and slept at Sis. Warren's.

Traveled to Sturminster, and visited a women by the name of Sansom, to whom I had borne testimony before. Found her feeling well towards me. She had loaned a tract on "Repentance" to a Methodist, who said to her: "If that is right I am a castaway. I would like to see the Elder, etc." She asked me to take a little refreshment, homely as it was, which I did, gratefully. Then she told me that, whenever I came that way, I was welcome to anything that she could get for me in a "homely manner". I bore a faithful testimony to her, her daughter, her husband, and to a woman who was there, sold them two tracts, and left. Returned to Marnhull, and then went to Sherborne. Found a letter awaiting me, from Pastor Neslen, giving me permission , (at the request of the Taunton Saints) to go to Taunton for a couple of days , as they were going to have a party there. Slept at Sis. Burnett's.
