Katherine Olsen Dillman

OGDEN -- Katherine Judd Olsen Dillman, 75, died Thursday, November 15, 1991 at her sister's home from complications of diabetes.

She was born October 17, 1916 in Henefer, Utah, a daughter of Herschel P. and Myrtle M. Stephens Judd.

She married William Glenn Olsen on December 1, 1939 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died May 10, 1960. She married Lorin Ivans Dillman on November 10, 1960 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died April 24, 1974.

She was raised and educated in Ogden, graduating from Ogden High School in 1934.

She was a member of the LDS Church. She had served as Relief Society President, spiritual living instructor, Primary and Sunday School teacher and was also an officiator in the Ogden LDS Temple. At the time of her death she was a member of the Canyon View 6th Ward.

Mrs. Dillman had been a telephone operator for Mt. Bell. She had also worked at Mayfair Markets and was a PBX supervisor at St. Benedict's Hospital for 15 years.

She was a member of the PBX and Soroptomist Clubs of Ogden. She was a very kind, gentle and unselfish person. She liver for her family.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph W. (Kathy) Olsen, North Odgen; Mark J. (Kristy) Olsen, Kimberly, Idaho; two stepsons and three stepdaughters, Laurie (Joyce) Dillman, Coeur D' Alene, Idaho; Joseph (Verna) Dillman, Ogden; Mrs. Brooks (Glenyce) Poulson, Richfield, Utah; Mrs. Gerald (Tanya) Jones, Ridgecrest, Calif.; Mrs. Don (Ester) Olpin, Ogden; 32 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, Glen H. (Miriam) Judd, St. George; Everette W. (Reba) Judd, Ogen; Mrs. Norman S. (Faye) Hoyal and Mrs. Marvin L. (Beth) Felt, both of Ogden.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Douglas S. Judd.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Canyon View 6th Ward Chapel, 880 Harrison Blvd.

Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday at the Canyon View 6th Ward Chapel from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
